Clubs will meet each Tuesday at 1:15 - 2:00 p.m. There will be no after school club meetings each week. Club advisers will send home a note a week in advance when a club meeting is scheduled after school.
(4th-5th Grade) The goal of 4-H is to develop citizenship, leadership, responsibility, and life skills of youth through experiential learning programs and a positive youth development approach. Meets monthly. A calendar was given out at the first meeting. Led by 4-H County Extension Agents.
(5th Grade) Beta Club is an academic honors program with a strong emphasis on community service. This club is by invitation only based on a maintained average grade of 85 or higher in all subject areas and fulfillment of their PBIS contract. Meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Led by Noel Giles and Monica Tugwell.
(4th-5th Grade) This club will foster the student's love of music while exploring music composition. Meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Led by Beth Miller and Lisa Duncan.
(3rd-5th Grade) This club uses creative skills and techniques to design and build props and set pieces for the Stage Hawgs performance. Meets the 1st Tuesday of each month. Led by Kim Greene and Rita Wills.
(4th-5th Grade) These sports are sponsored by the YMCA. The available sports are soccer, basketball, and flag football. Meets after school until 3:15 p.m. during the season of the sport. More information will be available prior to each season.
Soccer practices are Mondays and Wednesdays. Students need to be picked up promptly at 3:15 p.m.
(4th-5th Grade) A math problem solving contest for students in fourth and fifth grade to stimulate enthusiasm and a love for mathematics. Math Olympiad will nurture flexibility, creativity, and strategies for problem solving. This club is by invitation only. Meets the 4th Tuesday of each month during club time and the 2nd Wednesday of each month after school until 3:15 p.m. Led by Rita Wills and Lisa Duncan.
(3rd-5th Grade) Drama club is an activity for students to learn about acting, play production, and stage work. Students will work through the year to prepare for an end of the year performance. Meets the 1st Tuesday of each month. Led by Beth Miller and Monica Tugwell.
(3rd-5th Grade) In an environment of inquiry, discovery, and critical thinking, this club fosters a deeper understanding of technology as a learning tool by exposing students to a wide variety of software and technology applications, and then provides authentic opportunities to apply new skills through school-based projects. Meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Led by Kim Greene and Mendy McCoy.
(4th-5th Grade) This is a competition club based on texts or literature. It is by invitation only. Meets the 4th Tuesday of each month. Led by Mendy McCoy and Kristy Croft.
(3rd-5th Grade) This club is responsible for capturing memories throughout the school year and building our yearbook. Students will work together to format classroom and club pages. This club is by invitation only. Meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Led by Hannah Boyd.
